Mo's comment:
Jushin Thunder Liger is the icon of the Jr. wrestling. Comparing with Tiger Mask, Liger is more likely a cartoon character. It is because his costume, in my opinion, is more toward "performer" than
"wrestler". And his mask with horns was a resloution also, it affected many Mexican Luchadors, such as Psicosis. Looking back of his
wrestling style, Liger is a Jr. powerhouse, he can overpower many Jr. wrestlers easily. Besides aerial and power
moves, Liger is also the master of brawling moves. His rolling kick and slaps combo are great, he can wrestle
well in a shoot-wrestling match. And most importantly, Liger knows how to work the crowd, such as he making up
himself to The Great Muta at the match against the real The Great Muta. Even though Satoru Sayama(the original Tiger
Mask) is the father of the Japanese Jr. wrestling, but I still think Jushin Thunder Liger is the icon the
Jr. wrestling.
