Tips 1: Buy Seagate = Buy Conner!?

When you go to the computer shopping center and want to buy the famous Seagate ATA-2 harddisks, have you ever thought that some of them are not produced by the ORIGINAL Seagate? After Seagate acquired Conner, Seagate actually put a lot of Conner harddisks to the market!

Here, this table is for your reference:

There is another method to find out which Seagate harddisk is made by Conner:
On the harddisk's cover label, look at the left-bottom corner. If you found that there is a model number marked CFSxxxxxA or CFAxxxxxA then this harddisk is made by Conner!

The price difference between Seagate made or Conner made harddisks are very less(around HK$50-100). However, the difference on the performance and reliablility between them is very high! So, think before you buy!
